Who we are

The license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pulp on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute the app, reverse-engineer it, scrape it, or build a competing service from its outputs. Your captured content is yours; this license is about the app itself.

Free tier and Pulp Pro

The free tier includes capture and a small daily allowance of AI operations (decompose, voice transcription, photo OCR, file extraction, Ask AI). Once the daily allowance runs out, captures still save without the AI step until midnight local time, when the counter resets.

Pulp Pro removes the daily allowance and unlocks Smart Reminders, Daily Triage, bulk operations, and full export. Pricing is shown in the app's paywall and may vary by region. Apple processes the transaction.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the rate shown until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via iOS Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Reverse trial

New installs include a 14-day Pulp Pro trial granted automatically. No card required. After the 14 days, the trial flips off and you keep using the free tier unless you purchase. The trial is granted once per Apple ID, tracked via iCloud Key-Value Store. Reinstalling, switching devices on the same Apple ID, or deleting the app does not reset the trial.

Refunds

Apple handles refunds for App Store transactions. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days of purchase, or email us and we'll help with the request.

Acceptable use

Do not use Pulp to store or process content that is illegal where you live, intended to harm a person or system, or designed to harvest credentials or personal data of others. We may decline service to accounts that violate this.

AI outputs

AI features summarize, transcribe, and structure your input. They can be wrong, especially with handwriting, accents, or domain-specific jargon. Always verify any output you rely on. Pulp is not a substitute for professional advice in medical, legal, or financial contexts.

Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the app working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may release updates that change features, including paid features, with reasonable notice. If a material change reduces what you paid for during an active subscription, you can request a refund.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulp Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data, lost time, or lost revenue. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Pulp Studio is registered. Disputes that cannot be resolved through email will be handled in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
